Rice is a monocotyledonous plant of the family Pooeidon (Poaceae) or Grasses (Gramineae), found in two species (Oryza sativa, the domesticated rice  and Oryza glaberrima, the Rice leiotati) native to tropical and subtropical  Notia Asia and Africa. Rice is one of the staple foods of humanity: the two species make up one fifth of the total calories consumed worldwide. (The term "wild rice" can refer to wild items  Oryza (Oryza), but by convention refers to types of related species Zizania, both wild and cultivated). Rice usually grows to a height of 1 to 1.8 meters, with long smooth leaves 50-100 cm long and 2-2.5 cm wide. The small flowers come out in the branches 30-50 cm. The seed is granular (caryopsis) with a length of 5.12 mm and 2.3 mm cross section.
